Member Profile: Anderson Lubricants

Anderson Lubricants has been providing specialized lubricating oils to industries in Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota for over 35 years. In that time, Anderson Lubricants has become one of the top ten distributors of Exxon/Mobile lubricating products in the United States.

"Our goal is to improve our customer’s profitability by utilizing our technical expertise with a custom blend of products and services," is a mission statement that guides the work of Anderson Lubricants.

Industries served by Anderson Lubricants include mining, marine, paper, power generation, construction, trucking, quick lube shops and car dealers. Lubricating products are distributed from three locations: Superior; Negaunee, MI; and Chisholm, MN.

The Superior distribution center receives 70 percent of its lubricating products by rail and stores up to one-half million gallons of lubricant in 70 bulk tanks. The Superior facility also has equipment to reprocess contaminated oil and lubricants, preserving and returning a valued commodity to customers.

Steve King is CEO and President of Anderson Lubricants, a long-time member of the Development Association. He finds value in the networking opportunities the Development Association provides to help existing businesses grow in the community.
