IT INFRASTRUCTURE

Telecommunication services can be provided by CenturyTel or Telephone Associations.  Facilities do exist which can link a proposed site on Winter Street directly to the Central office.  In addition, this site is also located near an alternative provider’s Fiber backbone which would allow for direct connection to those alternative facilities, connection to a SONET ring arrangement for both redundancy and disaster recovery.

Several different DATA services are available from the local carriers.  From basic DSL, Cable and other broadband products all the way on up to complete T-1 and DS3 bandwidth facilities.

Enventis Telecom also has fiber facilities that go across St. Louis Bay to and from Duluth, Minnesota very near to a site in Superior, Wisconsin.
