“This luncheon is a celebration of business success in Superior and Douglas County,” said Andy Lisak, Executive Director of the Development Association. “ It is important, as we work to build an inviting place for business, that we recognize individuals who have had a significant impact on our economy and our community.  It is also important that we recognize and celebrate businesses that play a major role in making our community a superior place in which to live, work, invest and recreate. The individuals and businesses that we recognize and honor today are role models for other businesses and entrepreneurs to emulate.”

The sponsoring organizations for the first Superior Business Awards program are the Development Association of Superior and Douglas County, the Chamber serving Superior and Douglas County, the Superior Business Improvement District, the Northeast Entrepreneur Fund, the Superior Business Center and the UW-Superior Small Business Development Center.
